A company’s logo design is the visual expression of its brand and corporate identity. An effective logo with a smartly chosen color theme can reveal more than it can hide.

So, why is it essential to get your logo design made professionally?

A thrifty company might think about going at it internally with an aim to save cost. However, a foresighted company will not consider it an expense, rather an investment in its prospective clients.

The underlying notion is to reinforce the brand’s name with visually appealing graphics and a carefully selected color theme, something that will remain in the client’s subconscious.

It is often recommended that if a new company logo accompanies a word mark (signifying the business) then the logo and word mark should not be fighting each other for space.

A logo design prominently signifying the attributes of a company is as alive as any healthy human being. A person is often judged by the flair of his/her personality. In the same lieu, a client will make presumptions about the seriousness of a business via its logo.

Simultaneously, an amateur logo design will reflect poorly on the overall ambition of the company and its drive to attract potential clients.

Primarily, logos are made of a single color, typically a primary one. A few will add another color. However, adding more than two colors is a rare occurrence. A single color theme makes it convenient to attach an emotion to a logo.

However, it is admissible for companies to avoid hurting indigenous sensitivities when doing business globally. For instance, color white symbolizes purity and positivity in UK. However, in China it signifies mourning. Red usually symbolizes strength and life, but is taboo in financial communities.

A logo design once completed is not something set in stone since everything evolves over time. A company expanding its product line or merging with another company may need to revisit its existing logo to accurately portray the nature and breadth of its current business.
